Camp Sheldrake’s chair Kevin McDonald receives a $9,000 grant to help more children, ages 5-17 years, from around N.B. attend Summer Camp that otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend due to financial stressors. Summer is about enjoying sunny days and splashing in water – all of which the kids will experience while building friendships and from the change of “just being a kid”. The volunteers and staff see the changes as children develop self-esteem and confidence in only one-week. A ‘big’ thank you to the New Brunswick Children’s Foundation for sponsoring the children to attend the Camp.
